Gaza ceasefire: Security Council fails to bring Algeria’s efforts to fruition

ALGIERS- The United Nations (UN) Security Council failed Tuesday to bring Algeria’s efforts to fruition, which are aimed at an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, following the veto imposed by the United States on a draft resolution presented by Algeria in this regard.
