BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Abdelkrim BEHA graduated from the National School of Administration in Algiers, diplomacy section, in 1984. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma in International Affairs from the University of Aix-en-Provence/ France in 1996.
Mr. BEHA joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986. He held several positions within the Ministry as well as in representations abroad, including Deputy Director of Media Relations in 2005, then Deputy Director of Sub-Regional Organizations and Continental Integration in 2006, before being appointed in the Minister of Foreign Affairs' office as In Charge of Studies and Synthesis in 2008. In 2016, he took up the post of Director of Communication and Information, then he was appointed Director of Ceremonial, Official Visits and Conferences in 2018.
Concerning Algeria's representations abroad, Mr. BEHA served as Consul of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in Toulouse in 2009, before becoming Consul General in London in 2020.
In May 2023, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Amman.
